Map of selected hazards along the system
Map of many of the hazards along the system that include weirs, causeways, bridges, rapids, gauge controls, etc. This generally excludes fences, power lines and natural hazards such as trees and it only includes hazards that I have personally reported or researched and may miss many others. (i.e. it is not exclusive!)
Many hazards are dependant on the flow. Many low bridges and weirs wash out during a flood while high bridges that are usually clear of the water become hazards in a high flow.
See the Risk Assessment page for more details.
The following is a map of many of the weirs and bridges in the Great Darling Anabranch with a few selected weirs on the Murray and Darling. Many of these hazards can be hard to see from a distance, stay alert.
